Their crown accomplishment from this was a 3rd place finish at TI2 which included a flawless run through the tournament up until the Winners' Finals. But the next year would be a down year for China, and Sylar departed following a disappointing TI3 finish.
After a half season in which LGD remained strong, but not a contender for the Aegis, xiao8 also left the team. In their search to replace the departed director, LGD signed promising pubstar Maybe. Ultimately the new talent was too raw for the intense spotlight of the top stratum of the Chinese circuit. But rather than cut Maybe, LGD.CDEC was born to help he and other young talent in China grow. Now starting to come into their own with upsets against some of China's top tems, LGD.CDEC looks to make a statement at the HyperX D2L and earn their first LAN trip outside of their homeland.
